Began engraving in 1980. Elected Fellow of the Guild of Glass Engravers in 1987. Exhibited in all Guild National Exhibitions since 1983. Winner of Christopher Russell Lettering prize 1998,2004,2012 and 2015. Elected Brother of the Art Workers Guild 1996. Piece presented to Her Majesty the Queen by the Historical Royal Palaces 2004. Has engraved glass for the BBC, Chelsea Physic Garden, the Civil Aviation Authority,Winchester College, the World Meteorological Organisation and the All England Lawn Tennis Club. Panels for Winchester and Portsmouth Cathedrals and Romsey Abbey. Doors for Ilminster and All Saints Fulham, St Mary's Church Taunton and St Ann's the Royal Naval Base at Portsmouth.
