How to borrow a library book
Notify the Guild Librarian by email (robert.page130@googlemail.com) or telephone (07776-386-835) that you wish to borrow one of the books. He will tell you if the request is successful or not.
If the request is successful there are three ways to get the book to you:
1. The book can be taken to the next South West meeting. (This works if you are a member of the branch.)
2. The book can be taken to the next guild meeting and given to a member of your branch who will arrange to get it to you. (This relies on them being willing to travel to London, where most of our physical meetings are held.)
3. The expensive option: The Librarian can send you the book by courier at your expense.
If the book is popular then it may need to be returned (by the reverse process to that above) so that the next person can borrow it.
