About my Work:

This work is an exploration of the relationship between craft and well-being. Created through hot-sculpted glass, employing surface engraving and sand blasting, individually or in combination, it draws inspiration from the unique weather and landscapes of Scotland, along with the emotions they evoke. The cylindrical forms ensure that as viewers interact from various angles, the clouds and mountains within transform. A gentle touch softens the engraved surface, inviting tactile engagement. This collection offers tactile possibilities for appreciating craftsmanship beyond the visual experience.
