Commissions Undertaken?
Based in the coastal town of Seaham in County Durham, England, I have been engraving since 2000 after attending Anne Roxboroughs glass engraving classes at the National Glass Centre. Anne suggested I join the Guild of Glass Engravers and I passed my assessment for craft membership in 2003. I engrave using mostly drill techniques, particularly intaglio engraving where a 3D image is cut into the glass to give real depth to the image being portrayed. I have recently been experimenting with both sandblasting for surface engraving and kiln work to apply texture and colour to glass. I accept commissions for both art glass and engraving of windows, trophies, gifts etc.

Engraving can also be requested from customers of the National Glass Centre in Sunderland.
