Hello, I posted this last week tucked away in the forum, but this might be a better place to ask.
I have been in touch with a metalsmith about making a small and elegant stand to hold 2 panels, one above the other.20 x30cms approx. He has quoted "between £30 and £200" Quite a range! He is unwilling to narrow it down any further. What should I realistically expect to pay? roughly? And can anyone recommend another supplier in the West Midlands! (with an email address)

I have been approached by the neighbour of a member of the Guild who died recently, leaving a great deal of glass/equipment(drills etc.)/design references etc. to be disposed of - he was an engraver of door panels, and was a member of the Guild till 2010.He lived at Windlesham, Bagshott exit off M3.Please get in touch with me if anyone is interested.

I am looking to sell a sandblasting unit. It was purchased roughly 3 to 4 years ago from Crystal Galleries.

We have reasonably regular use out of it but are strongly considering outsourcing our glass engraving requirements as it is quite labour intensive on our small workforce and we are expanding in other areas.
